Emir Palacios was born in La Plata (Argentina) , in 1981. He studied Orchestral Conducting at the National University of La Plata, followed by Electroacoustic Composition at the National University of Quilmes. He also studied Sound Engineering and Electronic Music production in Buenos Aires.

He composed and produced music for several short films, music for media, and audiovisual works.
